Talk to the dead with QR code

Remember in September I told you about QR codes in my posting"QR Barcode Code for Web Commerce"?  Well, a Japanese company now places QR codes on gravestones of your dead family members so you can quickly access their photos and hear their voices on your cellphone.

Revealed by "Wireless Watch Japan," the sample QR code on their website points to here. The service comes bundled with the company's granite and marble markers. The estimated cost is approximately $10,000, plus a monthly admin fee of $50 for the first three years. The company's website states that “it is expected to become a new style to which it visits a grave for the young generation.” As a starting point, there just might be something to that.
